Sustainable ambient between technology and expresivity

Abstract

Contemporary urbanism puts increasingly higher emphasis on public space. Many companies specialized in arranging public spaces designed as areas of great interest – vital for the city. Being defined in terms of the functions included, space becomes a receptacle for all sorts of activities.

Public space refers to an open area accessible to all people (regardless of race, age or social level). It can be seen as a meeting place... but the elements composing it are more numerous. As perceived by the pedestrian, it must meet a number of qualities: relaxation, social and cultural exchange - verbal and visual, it thus is a living space, diversified, secure, in which sensory experience must prevail.
