The rehabilitation and the conversion of the industrial parks into gardens of future

Abstract

The landscape of the future represents a superposition of the formal and informal elements of  those common general feature that represents the diversity. This is shown by the unique imprint / mark of the projector or designer as well as of the place.

The using of the old materials as well as metal, glass, wood is realized in the combinations absolutely surprising but perfect adaptable in condition of the existing necessities.

The design international competitions permitted the best selections from all point of view: historical, town urban, landscape and social. The great gain of the new landscape creations is another and a certain kind in which these parks there were created through flexibility (they can supported other transformations) and especially through the conversion of other functions that does not get the meaning in real  necessities, these being given again to the people. They were turned to good both the industrial archaeology monuments and the desire of the inhabitants and the officials to keep the memory of the place.

There are very good examples of the such parks met in Germany: Distrager, Aqua Magica 2000 Bad Oeynhausen  and Loehne, Postindustrial Topotek Eberswade.
