Lost VALUES OF NATURAL AND CULTURAL Heritage, in the area of Central Bucharest

Abstract

Study research has focused on case studies of Bucharest City, by applying a new methodology for identification of primordial morpho-genetic embryo, specific for cultural landscape, defined as action and interaction of natural and human factors of the city, contributing to the formation of local culture, in according with the Florence European Landscape Convention.

Urban development in relation to specific cultural landscape and its features, help to strengthen cultural identity, like a landmark in place and time. Bucharest Case Study, has resulted in identification of the first germs of morpho-structural and genetic landscape of the capital, the typology of gardens disappeared from the central city area, and changes in landscape art, in accordance with urban development.

Researched areas, are part of the center area of the romanian capital, from archaeological footprint of the garden as a morpho-genetic seed type - icon (Royal Garden) to the monastic garden typology (Bărăției Garden) symbolic garden (St. Sava Church / Rașca / Stavri / Universala / Blanduziei / University Garden ), private typology of garden representation (Șuțu Palace Garden), garden like a morpho-structural-type seed in relation with genius loci, that preserve the memory of a place (The Garden of Horse), leisure and entertainment types of gardens (Union Garden, Oteteleșanu).
