Abstract

Nineteenth-century challenges such as intensive land use, densification, revitalization, economic feasibility are prerequisites and recurring conditions for the development of hybrid architectural ensembles or objects - accessibility in a short time to a variety of functions implies efficient land use, which together with facilitating pedestrian activity leads to economic viability and a high sense of security.

The notion of mixed uses is becoming increasingly popular as a strategy for improving the quality of the urban environment. The objective of this study is to analyze the multiple implications generated by hybrid architecture, both urban and social, by promoting human interaction.

Keywords
