Abstract
In every city there are points from where it is photogenic. Well known points or hidden points. The project STATION POINT: I LOVE BUCHAREST has two targets:
1.to give tourists a number of points from which to photograph the city. The points – station points- are to be established through interviews with well known street photographers.
2.to built an online participative platform where to where to gather photos from each station point, interpretations of the same place at various times of the year and day, a live city database.
The results of the project are to be measured by:
- monthly prize for the best image per station point.
- marketing for the city: posters and postcards with the best photos/ station points
The station points are to be available online and ideally also marked on the ground.
